A Way to end a Decade
A place to leave a mark
the thought of looking backward
To reflect, to fill your heart.
Remember but a moment
Then revert your focus inline
the past though fondly remembered
can only be lived one time.
For a glimpse of what made us
the road traveled to where we are
A path in which we walked on
The path that made our scars
Remember your journey,
Your road trail or path
The lessons that it brought you
the imprint on your soul they cast
A journey is what you make it
you decide the baggage you stow
Gather what you can handle
Take the rest and LET IT GO.
