On this day, that marks the time
I look back
I make a rhyme.

The mirror back, I took a glance
Remembering when
I took the chance.
Standing ground all gains lost
Alone and free
So worth the cost
The road behind is getting long
The journeys rough
The will is strong
A forward march let’s keep the pace

I stand in the darkness

Looking backward

forcing the silence to Listen

One voice, the only sound

Untold no longer 

Said yet not heard

The silence, repairs 

moves forward, 

as never broken

The insanity is real I can feel it creeping in

Thoughts appear, reality blurs

The lines begin to dissolve.

Voices in our head, want us to make a choice

We can power through it

We can quell the noise.

The past is behind us the future to be seen

Never look beyond your fears

Always strive to reach your dreams.

In the dream find safety, a road to travel on

A place you want to get to,

As the journey moves along.
