Up in Marble Canyon,
near the Great divide.
The fire ate the forest,
consumed all her insides.
Stripped her of her nutrients,
for the wildlife she sustains.
Nothing to eat, no where to hide,
Somehow her beauty remains.
A rebirth will happen,
in many years to come.
Can she fully recover,
from what man has done.
