Globe Cafe

Think back to the beginning,
 In the Globe cafe'.
With DMac Touc and Wildy
and all the hours wasted away.
From that moment forward,
our lives have been entwined.
Through all that madness,
 we found some ties that bind.
The hours we've spent laughing
or crying on the phone.
No matter what was happening,
 I knew I was never alone.
 On your day I salute you ,
 as this year comes to an end.
 Of all the things I call you,
 The favorite is  Friend!

What I like about Un-Birthdays

I don't like birthday's because -

I do not feel comfortable getting things.

It feels awkward to me to receive gifts, I do not feel I deserve.

It is not about age or aging as every person we know has one every year.

It is more about the obligation. I do not want people to feel obligated to say or do anything that they would not normally do. Which of course makes it difficult and uncomfortable to do anything. The things I want can not be 'asked' for, the things I want are achievable and often over looked.

I would prefer to celebrate Un-Birthdays as those are the days where we all just feel good about each other because we can, not because we should or 'have' to. Those are the days it really feels good to be treated special, those are the days that matter the most over the course of our lifetime.

A person only has one Birthday every 365 days, yet it is possible to celebrate 364 un-birthdays. No matter how you slice it, new math or Old the Un-birthday is the way to go.
